"I was thinking of a back-up system for the key circuits in my house, with a 14KW Generac. I had a couple companies give me proposals which were quite expensive due to my house having two 200 amp breaker boxes, fairly far apart. When Dale from Dolphin came out, he made a much better proposal, whole house back-up, 26kw, and for almost the same price as the other guys quoted for the smaller partial solution. Dolphin is quite busy, so I had to schedule installation over a month out. They came on the day scheduled, did a great job with the quality and speed of installation, walked me though the operation of the system, and were gone, leaving the installation site neat and clean. I have not had the need for the system to kick in yet, but it has exercised once per week per schedule and is surprisingly quiet. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dolphin. "Until researching Generac installers, after deciding to invest in one of these units, I had never heard of Dolphin Electric. I initially chose them because of all the positive reviews, but quickly learned why they have so many positive reviews!! Dale performed an onsite visit after a phone proposal. He stopped by the next day and made his recommendations as to where the generator should be installed and gave me a more solid estimate. Fast forward to installation day and there was a pod of dolphins here working on the installation! They kept me informed the entire time and did a full overview of the generator after it was installed. They were fast, efficient, courteous, skillful and helpful.
